Memory Tip: Stop The Madness!
If you’re not remembering, and have a pattern of it, you can find lots of resources for pattern-breaking ideas. At a certain point, you have to stop the madness, stop the self-abuse, admit it, and shore it up.
Example: “Sometimes I’m on to the next thing and completely forget what I promised to send you. So I have to pause our conversation and write it down while we’re talking. I’d much rather give you what you need, and not abuse my brain that I’ve come to accept.
